BUILT FOR COMFORT

Between pruning, picking and many other tasks, these carts spend long hours in use. If the operator is comfortable, their thoughts are on the job. With this in mind we have designed our carts to reduce operator fatigue. Foot pedals have a lower profile, which reduces stress on the calf. Anti-fatigue rubber matting is standard, and reduces strain significantly. A comfortable operator is a safe and efficient worker.

INCREASED SAFETY

Engineering changes have lowered the cart’s base platform by a full 5". Careful distribution of the weight has lowered the centre of gravity, without making the cart heavier. This is an extremely important feature especially when the platform is raised (a maximum 3 metres on the larger carts). A more stable platform means fewer work disruptions, and fewer injures. A choice of safety railings can be been added as an option.

RELIABLE QUALITY

High-density plastic wheels are used to grip the rails more firmly. Plastic wheels last longer, and are much quieter than steel wheels. Also plastic wheels do not wear out the heating rails like metal wheels do. The top speed has also been increased. This allows the operator to move safely but efficiently to his destination. Control of the speed at the low end is also more accurate. CCS uses the highest quality batteries and the longer periods between charging means less costly downtime. Also a built in battery charger is standard on all of our hydraulic carts, and an option on all the rest.

PLATFORMS

Two types of platforms are available. The standard model has a maximum capacity of 400 pounds and can be raised to a maximum height of 1.5m. The longer cart has a maximum capacity of 300 pounds and can be raised to a maximum height of 3 m. All platforms are lightweight aluminum to help lower the centre of balance. Whether it is the longer or the shorter cart, hydraulic platforms are an option. These models can raise the platform to 3 metres in about 12 seconds. The long-term savings in labour of this convenience more than pays for the additional cost.

VERSATILITY

If a low profile cart is required at the start of the season, or for specialized tasks, the entire scissor lift can be removed. Both the main cover and the scissor lift have hinges to allow them to swing out of the way, exposing the batteries, motors, and electronics for ease of servicing.

OPTIONS
